Resolution Letter

Resolution letter is a document which is written for various purposes. Depending upon the purpose and its usage in various parts of the world, its meaning is not universal. In order to understand we have provided scenarios where they are applicable.

The first one - Resolution Letter is a letter written for the purpose of resolving any issue through consensual agreement. When a certain agenda needs to be addressed in any kind of organisation, it needs to be discussed, amended, rejected or ratified. This is done to ensure that a solution to an issue is righteous and acceptable to all. If a certain member is unable to be present physically he/she can send a resolution to letter to present his/her decision on the matter.

The second one - A resolution letter is also written in business matters like a resolution for granting the right to operate business transaction on the behalf of the business owner.

The third one - Letter of resolution is also written to reflect different aspects of someone’s character by certain investigating authorities.

The fourth one - A resolution letter is also a rite of passage that contains specific formatted information and is read at a funeral. It is officially recognized by the church and by the family of the deceased. The purpose here is to come to a common agreement to resolve the death of the deceased at the hands of the congregation of the church. This agreement or resolution can involve any activity to support or console the family or relatives of the deceased.

Resolution letters also have similar characteristics with adjustment letter, complaint letter, request letter, official letter, business letter and petition letter. But these characteristics only appear when there is a resolution amongst the two parties. The similarity also comes from the fact that the above mentioned ones and the one in discussion are formal letters.
